Manifesto Two

Maybe this election result will be good thing: Brexit will be over and done with soon enough, they'll be a voluntary purge of Blairite scum from labour,  Brexit failures will be blamed entirely on the Tories.  They'll be unelectable for a generation.  By that time the people who tended to be male, uneducated and older will have died off and the young people today can take over and do something about the climate.  I seriously think things could have gone really wrong, as in violence in the streets and a military coup wrong. If there was a hung parliament we'd never hear the end of parliamentary obstructionism and conspiracy theories from Farage and Johnson.  C orbyn should have offered everyone a job or an equivalent wage if they can't work.  The papers would have called him a communist regardless of how radical or not the Labour manifesto was, I hate to say this, but he should be like Tom Zarek and been totally ruthless. This is the only way to win.  Labou

Westeros 2

One thing which bothers me about ASOIAF/GOT  is the height of the Wall and the fact that people have been able to cross over it. Not just stone-age Wildlings but that the (supposedly under-manned and under-funded) Night’s Watch were not only able to get to the top of the Wall but actually place defences on the top!  The Wall is actually so high that people would get blown off by the wind on a regular basis! It is established in the books that the Wall (which is 700 feet high and 300 miles long) protects itself, so perhaps this is more of a plot hole. OK, so let's imagine that the Wall is, actually (more like) 300 feet high and 150 miles long, while some parts of it have fallen down. At these parts the Night's Watch have their fortifications. Specifically Castle Black, Mole's Fort which basically contains a trebuchet and Eastwatch, where the Wall is a consistent 200 feet high and extends 60 feet into the Narrow Sea  There are a number of abandoned castles on the Wall, so

The Empire

Returns and Strikes back! An idea I had for consistently re-booting the "prequel" Star Wars trilogy-is to completely forget what was filmed!  Although it starts of similar to the phantom menace the main thrust of the plot is that the Jedi believe the Sith have returned and are concerned about the sect targeting Anakin Skywalker.  Anakin is a baby at this point. But everything else....the Jedi try to battle the Sith grand master but he is such a formidable foe that they are forced to create a clone army just to fight him. They end up provoking a rebellion in the outer rim territories and a sizable anti-jedi movement in the senate. The rebels then create their own clone army and are actually invited to conquer the Jedi Centre by the senate. The sith grand master is actually Palpatines former teacher. Palpatine was rejected by the Sith when he became a senator for various blah reasons. The senate are an advisory body and two thirds of its members are backed by various fa
