Pokemon and Dragon Ball share the  same universe If both franchises are set in the very far future,  Humans could have evolved into the Saiyans before (or after) migrating (or relocating) to  the planet Sadala. The Saiyans then conquered a new planet and named it "Vegeta", before Sadala was destroyed. The original Earth may actually be Sadala. In any case, as far as the inhabitants of the Pokemon World and Dragon World are concerned their world is still Earth. Someone at some point in the past of both franchises used the Dragon Balls to create two worlds filled with humans and magical creatures. Or three: why not the world of A Song of Ice and Fire too?

Hi there, this is Elench-San and I have more Dragon Ball theories! There is a lot about the franchise that is either contradictory or shouldn't be taken too seriously. For example the anime often shows a realistic globe of the Earth or a view from space with identifiable continents.  But a map of the "Dragon World" is slightly askew.  This perhaps lends to two completely bonkers theories: Dragon World is basically Arda  (as in Middle Earth, Hobbits and shit) or Planetos (as in Wars of the Roses, continent-sized empires, dragons!) OK maybe not, but one can actually connect Toriyama's world with Tolkien's. Both have dragons, gods, werewolves and vampires as well as collectible jewels!  The map often given is reminiscent of that of "Planetos".  The reason a fantasy world maybe set in the distant past of Earth is to do with those titular dragon balls.  This is also why the world is also so apparently depopulated.  ...

One thing which bothers me about ASOIAF/GOT  is the height of the Wall and the fact that people have been able to cross over it. Not just stone-age Wildlings but that the (supposedly under-manned and under-funded) Night’s Watch were not only able to get to the top of the Wall but actually place defences on the top!  The Wall is actually so high that people would get blown off by the wind on a regular basis! It is established in the books that the Wall (which is 700 feet high and 300 miles long) protects itself, so perhaps this is more of a plot hole. OK, so let's imagine that the Wall is, actually (more like) 300 feet high and 150 miles long, while some parts of it have fallen down. At these parts the Night's Watch have their fortifications. Specifically Castle Black, Mole's Fort which basically contains a trebuchet and Eastwatch, where the Wall is a consistent 200 feet high and extends 60 feet into the Narrow Sea  There are a number of abandoned castles on the W...

A few ideas I came up with recently concerned alternative endings to Game of Thrones. One was that Regent Cersei is eaten by Drogon immediately after declaring that dragons now longer exist. Kinda got that one from Alien Three (but is still a good one) Drogon also destroys the Iron Throne in dragon fire. Another is the idea that Aegon's conquest of Westeros helped to spread the Faith of the Seven. These ideas came to me before the final series of "Game of Thrones" was broadcast. I also have the idea that the series ought to be entirely remade as an animated series called "Westeros". It will cover the civil war between the Starks and the Lannisters but also Aegons' conquest and the parallels with Danearys' own attempt to restore Targaryen rule. Kings Landing is occupied by a slowly dwindling group of pilgrims. They follow a minority sect which worships seven aspects of the same god. Mostly male and highly religious, their numbers only increase by...

1. Dragons and Pokémon both allegedly came from the Moon. 2. Hodor can only say his name! 3. Dragons taught the ancient Valyrians* how to speak just as 'mon repeating their designations taught Humans in the Pokemon World how to speak (speculation based on the various anime series). 4. Six "thralls" and six Pokemon: Varamyr Skinchanger controls six beasts via his ability to Warg which, to me , is strikingly similar to the maximum a trainer can carry in the games and anime. 5. Both "worlds" seem to have extensive wilderness areas and disparate populations. 6. The ravens in A Song of Ice and Fire seem particularly sentient (maybe not as much as dragons and Pokémon however)  7. A particular similarity between the A Song of Ice and Fire novels and Pokémon is the "Lord of Bones" character and Cubone  : one wears the skull of a giant as a helm while the other wears the skull of its mother. 8. Feudalism, such as it is, in  "A Song of Ice and Fire", is an interesting concept when peasants are not bound to the land. There was no Westerosi emperor Diocletian. The great houses operate very much like the old kings of Ireland, and India during the Raj also. In both cases the English monarch became the overlord of these peoples in the same way Aegon the Conqueror conquered six of the seven kingdoms. The Lords are petty kings with the iron throne belonging to an overlord (or High King as was the equivalent case in Ireland). I would assume that every local lord is able to demand some from of tribute from nearby peasants but even this may not be certain. What the main lords subsist on, I would imagine, is their ability to enforce the king's laws and their rights over the lands they rule. This specifically means being able to fine poachers (and criminals in general). One could imply from the television adaptation that each of the main lords depends on their control...
