Star Wars Edit

Star Wars Edit. Dooku is set up as a patsy by Palpatine, but he isn't strictly a  villain. He sets up the clone army in secret after being persuaded by Palpatine to leave the Jedi and take up his position of Count. When the army's existence is exposed the various conglomerates with their own private droid armies get together to support an insurrection. Dooku is arrested and charged with treason by the Jedi. He is murdered by Anakin before he can face trial, with the blame going to the mysterious Sith lord.  Maul manages to survive Naboo and rises to the leader of the insurrection only to be betrayed by Palpatine during his own kidnap by Grievous: he throws Kenobi's lightsaber at Maul while still in manacles through an obvious use of the Force. Kenobi does not witness this because he is unconscious but Palpatine's identity as Sidious has been revealed to Anakin.

Fan Fic Four

I want to reboot Stargate SG-1 and connect it properly with the spin-off Stargate Atlantis and the Arthurian mythology introduced in the Ori story arc A few plot points (and ideas of mine I liked generally) 1. The stargate was originally discovered in Antarctica during Operation High Jump 2. Captain Jane Guinevere replaces Daniel Jackson when he spends a year (or so) as an Ancient 3. The Ancients developed FTL travel but could not use it without instantly Ascending. They therefore 4. built the Gate-building ships and sent them off into the wider galaxy/universe 5. Once, sentient beings would automatically Ascend if they are aboard a ship entering hyperspace. A group of Ancients, at some point, actually travelled back in time to slightly alter the laws of physics to prevent this from happening   6. The Ancients became obsessed with Ascending but also feared the rise of the Goa'uld 7. Those Ancients who had already Ascended, afterwa...

NO PLATFORM DEFEND DEMOCRACY

I wonder if Richard Ault is aware of this quote: Democracy is three sheep and a wolf arguing over what to have for dinner. I say this because despite what Spiked believe universities are not Stalinist bastions of oppression. Spiked grew out of Living Marxism. Before that they were the (allegedly) Revolutionary Communist Party. Now they have embraced a strange but unfortunately fashionable cult called "libertarian anarcho-capitalism". Some of these people call themselves Ancaps, but really their ideology states that democracy is equal to Fascism and that the ideal government is a military dictatorship styled on the former Pinochet regime in Chile. Freedom of speech for them means that all forms of pornography-even animal or child abuse-should be legalised, seemingly regardless of the tragic consequences. I am not making this up! This is a stated goal of the Von Mises Institute and Claire Fox, of Spiked/Sp!ked, has in the past defended poss...

Fan Theories 11

Spock's Grandson The female Romulan commander from The Enterprise Incident is Simon Tarses' grandmother.   Simon Tarses was an apparently half-Vulcan technician aboard the Enterprise-D who comes under suspicion in The Drumhead  when his real Romulan ancestry is exposed. Obviously, Spock and the Romulan had a brief affair when he was her prisoner aboard the Romulan ship. The result was a pregnancy. The child of three planets was born in a Federation prison and, presumably, adopted by a Martian (human) couple. This child had a son who joined Starfleet.
